The residents of Wellington-Halton Hills deserve a mature, experienced and effective voice in Ottawa. I am ready to represent your interests - making the right calls for our new riding. I have called this area home for most of my life, and understand the issues and concerns of my neighbours and our communities.

Born into a family with a strong farming heritage, I grew up learning the value of hard work and honesty. I stand by my word.

I believe in calling things like I see them. I believe in a hand up - not a hand out. Paul Martin's Liberal Team has the will and the ability to improve our quality of life. We are committed to a clear plan to protect our communities, and an innovative new deal for municipalities.

A Liberal government will preserve and improve universal healthcare. We will shorten waiting times, and make sure that rural communities have the doctors and nurses they need.

We will continue to strengthen Canada's economy, addressing the shortage of skilled labour. To safeguard our children's future, we must also improve access to affordable post-secondary education.

The safety of our water must be protected with improved and expanded treatment facilities. We must protect our environment by improving commuter transportation to reduce gridlock and smog. We need to balance the growth of our communities with the needs of our farmers and the agricultural sector.

This is where I stand. In the next election, Canadians have a clear choice. Today, I ask for your support - so that together we can make a real difference.
